ISLAMABAD: Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that the government's refusal to hold elections is tantamount to a bare attack on the constitution, merely fearing defeat and deviating from the constitution for its own interests will have disastrous consequences.

While discussing the country's political situation in a meeting with senior journalists and anchorpersons, he said that the only solution to the ongoing crisis in the country is to refer to the people for decision, the people exercise their authority through elected representatives in a transparent manner.


Chairman PTI further said that the government's refusal to hold elections is tantamount to a bare-bones attack on the constitution, merely fearing defeat and deviating from the constitution for its own interests would have disastrous consequences.

He further said that they are in the field of action to stop the killing of the Constitution by those who usurped the right to vote of the people, the class above the law is creating the history of fascism and horror in the country, the law and fundamental rights to accept the thieves. are being mocked.

The chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf further said that according to the constitution of Pakistan, the owner of supreme power is Allah Almighty and the source of authority is the people. From 1996 till today, Tehreek-e-Insaaf has fought a completely peaceful, democratic and constitutional struggle to achieve its ideals.
