Wahari: In a bus from Lahore to Karachi, a bus hostess was allegedly raped by a guard in a moving vehicle, the police arrested the accused and seized the bus.

When all the passengers on the bus from Lahore to Karachi got down near Mailsi, the driver closed the door of the bus and the guard allegedly raped the bus hostess at Vihari.

According to the victim, the guard raped the driver in the moving bus at gunpoint. The police of Daniwal police station registered a case on the complaint of the girl and arrested the guard and seized the bus while the girl was shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

Police officials say that further action will be taken against the accused after receiving the medical report, but the investigation has been started against him. According to the police officials, the girl has said that she pleaded with the driver several times to help him and stop the car, but he did not listen.

On the other hand, when social organizations and women protested against the police over the abuse of bus hostesses, the police registered a case. The family of the victim girl appealed to the higher authorities for justice and said that the condition of the victim is critical
