Mumbai: Indian actor Shreyas Talpade has apologized for the profanity of the name of the Hindu God in his film 'Kamal, Dhamaal, Malamal'.

A clip from the actor's 2012 film, in which he played a Christian, has gone viral on social media.

In the viral film scene, it can be seen that Shreyas Talpade blocks a wagon with his foot and his foot goes to the holy name of Hindus 'Om'.

Twitter users have been sharing the clip pointing out that Shreyas has insulted Hinduism by placing his foot on the 'Om' sticker.

Shreyas Talpade has said in his post on Twitter that this whole scene was done carelessly, we had no intention of insulting religious sanctities.

He further wrote that I am not cleaning it up, I should have seen it and told my director, I will not hurt anyone's feelings and will not do such a mistake in future.
