Babar Azam won another honor
Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the men's cricket team of the year
Babar Azam, the only Pakistani in the team for the men's cricket team of the year by ICC, has been appointed as the captain, while other players include Travis Head, Shreyas Iyer, Tom Latham, Sikandar Raza, Mehdi Hasan, Alzari Joseph, Muhammad Siraj, Trent Boult and Adam Zampa are included.
The national team captain Babar Azam and his family have expressed their happiness on receiving the award.
On the other hand, no Pakistani girl failed to get a place in the women's ODI team of the year. For the women's team, India's Harmanpreet has been appointed as the captain, while other players include three each from India and South Africa, Australia and England. A player from New Zealand is included.
Earlier, the ICC announced the Men's and Women's T20 Teams of the Year in which Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf were named as T20 Team of the Year while Nida Dar was named as part of the Women's T20 Team of the Year.
