Rizwan opened up about the breakup of the opening pair with Babar Azam
National team wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan opened up about breaking his partnership with Babar Azam in the T20 format.
In an interview given to Cricbuzz, Mohammad Rizwan was asked whether there was any benefit in breaking the opening pair of Babar Azam and you in T20? To which the wicketkeeper replied that this is not true! The team management changed a few things just keeping the World Cup in mind to create a good combination ahead of the mega event.
He said that he wants to make the best playing XI for the World Cup, trying to make a combination with right and left batsmen in the opening, I don't think it is a wrong decision.
Rizwan said that I am not angry with the management decision, but the World Cup is scheduled in West Indies and the US where the ball will spin, so we need different types of batsmen.
