ISLAMABAD: The Asian Development Bank has said that Pakistan has provided the most funding among Asian countries last year.

According to the annual report released by the Asian Development Bank, the most funding was done for Pakistan during 2022, the Asian Development Bank financed projects worth 31.8 billion dollars in Asia, ADB and partners gave Pakistan 5 and a half billion dollars. Plans were given while concessional loans of 2 billion 60 crore dollars were given to Pakistan in 2022.

According to the report, Pakistan's economy suffered the most damage due to floods, crops were destroyed in Pakistan due to floods, the balance of supply and demand was disturbed and local inflation has also increased due to the destruction of crops.

According to the ADB report, 1730 people were killed and 33.3 million people were affected by the floods in Pakistan, while the floods have caused a loss of 30 billion dollars to Pakistan's economy.

According to the report, 1.5 billion dollars have been provided to Pakistan for the flood affected areas, while 16 billion dollars have been promised for the rehabilitation of the flood affected areas by the International Shipping.
