A leopard that entered a private housing society in Islamabad and injured six citizens was caught alive by wildlife and rescue officials after 8 hours.

A wild cheetah entered the house of a private housing society established in DHA Phase II, on which the local people informed the relief organization and wildlife.

In view of the leopard attack, the residents were confined to their houses and volunteers of Rescue 1122, wildlife officials reached the spot. Spokesman 1122 said that the leopard has been safely rescued by Islamabad Wildlife, it will remain unconscious for an hour and then it will be released into the forest by wildlife officials. The frightened citizens breathed a sigh of relief when the leopard was caught after 8 hours.
