Bhopal: In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, a motorcyclist sexually assaulted a 90-year-old woman on the pretext of giving a lift.

According to Indian media, a 90-year-old woman who was waiting for a rickshaw to go home from the railway station late at night in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh was given a lift by a motorcyclist and sexually assaulted by taking her to a deserted place.

After sexually assaulting the woman, the motorcyclist escaped. The woman was shifted to the hospital for medical assistance. The police registered a case and started searching for the person riding the motorcycle.

There has been an increase in cases of sexual violence against women in India, on which international human rights organizations have also demanded strict measures from the Modi government.

The cases of sexual assault in India have increased so much that India has started being called Rapistan on social media, while the opposition party is also seen mocking that cows are safe in Modi's government, but women's dignity is not.
